Welcome to the KDL lessons. The course uses SWF spelling.
The files marked 'audio' contain the passages marked in the text with a double asterisk. The podcasts contain the rest of the lesson, for those who like to listen to it. The conversation practices at the end of the lessons are recorded for you to use as a drill.
There are vocabularies, a mutation table and a pronunciation guide at the bottom of this page.
We recommend 'A Learners' Cornish Dictionary in SWF', edited by Steve Harris et al, 'Cornish Grammar for Beginners' in SWF, by John Page, and 'Grammar Workbook for the First Grade' by Tony Hak. All are available from Kowethas an Yeth.
The vocabulary for all three KDL courses are on Memrise, to help you learn the words. Memrise is available on laptop, or as an app on Android or iOS. But note - you can only add a course on your desktop computer. Search for “KDL” using the search bar on the homepage, and once you have started learning a course on a laptop, it will automatically be available on the mobile app.
